I Takeover The Wynwood Art District!

Our first stop was at The Art Ink to support the work of the talented photographer Edin Chavez.  His exhibit consisted of the many photographs taken of the city, along side other local artist from Miami.   And although I had already seen some of Edin’s work via online, it didn’t dawn on me how truly talented he was until he took my picture for the NOH8 Campaign. ;)  Dude made me look pretty good!

After Edin’s showcase, we made our way on over to the Design District for the delicious variety in Food Trucks,  followed by a pretty chill walk down gallery lane where we meet up with Thabo.

Its pretty cool the amount of talent that is coming out of Miami these days, sad that one doesn’t get to really see it as often as once should to appreciate the community you live in.  But overall when you venture out into the town you never know who you’ll meet up with or what you’ll find, there is so much to Miami.  And the city gives back in a big way, because if you are anything like me: Talented less, you can truly appreciate the eye of those who have talent.
I enjoyed NY so much in the summer, that I had to go back in the winter!
