This year continues where 2011 left off…with tons of color, whether it’s Rust, Purple, Red, or Macaroni you just have to have every color in your closet. I’m trying to give up color for a year, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t appreciate the beauty that’s coming our way this Spring. Check out this new snake skin line by Vera Wang. I am known for making my own style as I go, but it makes me feel good when I wear something that no one is expecting…the reactions are priceless: “NO YOU DID’N'T.” Oh Yes I DID. Only to see them wearing it the very same week. I love wearing anklet socks with shoes, it gives an edge to your style. But what I enjoy most is wearing them with heels, that can be so trendy, and ultra chic!
After spring cleaning my closet, again (I need a new hobby) I have decided that it’s time for a new look. So I took to the web in search of something new that I can fancy for the next 6 months. The world of fashion is going to hell! News broke at the beginning of the month that John Galliano was fired from the house of Dior; leaving no one but my friend S, and I completely astound. Can we have his job? Anyways, here is where I have a BIG problem; just because you make the clothes, and its fabulous doesn’t mean you’re God like, and won’t be replaced.
Galliano was terminated from the house of Dior after being caught on camera drunk, and making anti-stematic comments. WHAT… ARE YOU FOR REAL! I can only hope that this will pave the way for a great designers who will keep in mind that its all about the art. There’s an open spot over at Dior, who wants it?
Now on to bigger and better news… Marc Jacob wins Fashion Week 2011, Paris.
Marc Jacob delivers an ending in Fashion Week with attitude! While house of Dior is making room, Louis Vuitton uncovered their Fall/ Winter collection. There was buzz around the streets of Paris that Jacob had something up his sleeve, boy were they right. Marc Jacob released the force of his “Feti-chic” on the cat walk just in time to stir things up for this fall. Everyone needs a little leather in their lives, and Jacob knows excatly how to bring it. I’m ready for this trend; I already have my gloves, Jacket and shoes!

Ok, I know what your thinking…the picture up on top doesn’t go with this trend, but allow me to explain how it does. My suspenders totally count as stripes, and whomever said that polka dots and stripes don’t go together, has yet to see me in this outfit!
I also advise you to head on down to the nearest department store and pickup a pair of suspenders, because they are totally in this spring!
Jeremy Scott is known for breaking all the rules when it comes to fashion; he is one of my favorite designers, and I know… I say that about a lot of designers, but you don’t understand, I live for his genius mind, and I ‘wait patiently to see what ideas he came’s up with for the following year, you can’t rush fashion people!..
Now, I’m all about the trends, but I’m also about the fashion that you don’t see coming. I am a sucker for Jeremy’s apparel because it’s brilliant, and speaking of which that brings me to my other addiction… besides music…WATCHES! I live for watches, and own way too many to keep track of, so you can just imagine how thrilled I was to hear that Mr. Scott was teaming up with Swatch, and bringing the funkiest edition of watches for spring of 2011, take a look and tell me what you think. I will let you guess on which one I have added to my extensive collection…
Remember when sillybandz where the craze? I’m so guilty of the hair arm pulling trend, I am the proud owner a set of John Mayer Sillybandz. Well it just so happens that the arm accessories are making it BIG in 2011 not only are big bangles and thin bracelet’s together a must have but so are these Hello Kitty watches. I am already at the top of this trend thanks to my friend S who gave me this beautiful Chococate watch from Mcdonalds, but if you have not found yourself heading to the drive thru for these babies then you are missing out. I know what you must be thinking…seriously, a Mcdonalds’s happy meal toy for girls? YES! What, did you for get the sillybandz already? Anyhow chances are if you haven’t gotten one you are shit out of luck, because there are going as fast as the food chain that is selling them. So if you found yourself a pair of the must have watches in town, great! If not then you know you are looking to pay a pretty expensive penny for anything hello kitty. I know someone who paid $600.00 for a hello kitty watch…I KNOW! Don’t be alarm I’m sure you can find them cheap on ebay, or on amazon come next year.
