A New Kinda, John Mayer!

John Mayer was honored at the GRAMMY’s on the Hill event last night in DC, where he spoke about his voice feeling, “OK”, but he’s not capable of singing just yet. Throat surgery is in the near future for John who said,  ”I’m going to be taking myself out of the running  for a good six months.” Don’t fret John, we will be… Perfectly Waiting.

Mayer has been posting a new picture every day this past week for his fan’s who are looking forward to the release of John’s video for, ‘Shadow Days’ set to be posted tomorrow Friday the 27th, 2012.

Monday’s Eye Candy- LL Cool J!

When I was growing up it was a must, that one of the men you should listen to before going to bed was always, LL Cool J. I have been an LL fan for as long as I can remember… not only did his music make its way into my boom box, but his body was plastered all over my bedroom walls. I remember hanging out with my girls in the park listening to ‘Bigger and Deffer’ if anyone was going to make you swoon over the boy in school it was sure to be, James Todd Smith.

Last night while watching him host the GRAMMYS, it took me back to hoop earrings, and sitting on the bus stops (well maybe not much as changed since the 90′s) however somethings have…somewhere down the line I had lost my passion for Hip Hop and R&B. But I guess your first crush will always be you first crush and damn…I haven’t had one of those in years.

GRAMMYs Take Over LA!

While the talk of the GRAMMYs was: “What is Lady Gaga wearing” I was looking forward to two things: John Mayer and Eminem.  Before you roll your eyes at me, like Marc Anthony did to JLo last night, let me explain.  I haven’t seen Mayer in five months, (NO) pictures on the web do NOT count, so it was nice seeing him again.  Moreover Eminem, wow…his performance last night left me so pumped up that I couldn’t even begin to explain how hard it was for me to fall asleep last night.  What an amazing show the GRAMMYs gave, hands down the best I have ever seen.  Here are my highlights of last night’s event.

 Florence

Rihanna’s dress was amazing.

Easter Bunny came early this year and left a little Gaga on the red carpet. LOVE!

Cee Lo Green, decked out in full feather form, performed hit 'F--k You' with Gwyneth Paltrow.

Perez’s pet was let loose at the GRAMMYs

OMG! Best performance of the night!

Mayer looked so sweet last night (despite of the Depp comparisons he had been getting as of late, which I would like to know who the hater was that started that mess, because it’s getting OLD!)

How awesome that Arcade Fire  The Suburbs won Album of the Year?!?

And the best dress goes to Kelly Osbourne who looked stunning  in a Tadashi Shoji’s, amazing!

What were yours?
